About the role

 

The IT Manager is responsible for the overall management of Goodyear (ANZ) Information and Communication technology services, including the responsibility for ensuring these services are meeting the needs of the business.

 

The role also has a responsibility to ensure that IT helps the ANZ business to achieve strategic and operational goals that have been identified in the organisations strategic and operational plans.

One of the most important aspects of this role is the responsibility of providing strong leadership and be able to develop the team based in ANZ.

The role also ensures that the ANZ digital transformation strategy, core technologies and analytics capabilities are aligned to accelerate business insights and enhance decision making across the organization.

 

One of the key objectives for the IT Manager is to facilitate the integration of ANZ IT Technology and Services, Infrastructure, Applications and the IT Leadership Team into the broader Regional and Global Goodyear IT businesses.

 

The successful candidate will display the following skills and attributes: 

 

  • Experience as an IT Manager with excellent understanding of corporate IT infrastructure, architecture, networks, applications, service delivery, and IT governance
  • Able to mentor, and develop people and teams
  • Experience with the Retail sector preferred  
  • Knowledge of Digital and eCommerce systems, including Web Technologies, Marketing, CRM, fulfillment, Freight Mgmt preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Business Outcomes, via a strong strategic and business mindset
  • Ability to introduce, lead and manage organisational change
  • Ability to transform strategic concepts into practical outcomes
  • High level customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed strategy, policy development and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work strategically as well as tactically
