About the role:

The Sales Representative will report to the National Fleet Sales Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementing strategies to increase the customer base in all market and industry segments
  • Identify and target new business
  • Maximizing the sales opportunities of existing accounts by creating sales solutions to improve volume sales and gross margins through customer needs analysis and relationship management
  • Sales of GDT products and services to existing and new Fleet customers, by providing a high-quality service and sales experience to our Fleet store-based customers.
  • To deliver sales revenue and gross profit targets by managing the development and implementation of business plans, sales programs and account acquisition within your sales territory.
  • On-going monitoring of customer progress against objectives and taking proactive and corrective actions as required to deliver the sales and margin goals.

You also have the following:

  • Successful experience as a Sales Representative/Manager or Business Development Manager of 2+ years
  • Experience in planning and executing a sales plan
  • Understands and is comfortable with a degree of cold calling
  • Thrives and can demonstrate a successful career in achieving sales targets 
  • Leads by example and enjoys helping others to achieve their goals
  • Has great time management skills
  • Understands the customers’ needs are paramount
  • Holds a current driver’s license
