Senior Financial Accountant

About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for month-end close including liaison with the shared service center to ensure timely close and reporting to the region. Key activities in relation to month-end close involve: 

•    Preparation of adhoc journals
•    Review of P&L and balance sheet
•    Preparation of reconciliations and intercompany billings for non-standard charges. 


In addition to the above, the role involves:
•    Preparation of information for tax fillings (such as FBT, GST, WHT and Income Tax) and the statutory financial statement
•    Being the key liaison point for the auditors
•    Interaction with the business in relation to warranty claims, issuance of credit notes, customer prepayments and adhoc requests from various teams


About You
•    CPA qualified preferably 
•    Proven experience working with a multinational organization and USGAAP experience would be preferred
•    Strong communications skills will enable you to work with various stakeholders & you will demonstrate strong business partnering experience
•    While adhering to business processes you will have a willingness to challenge the status quo to find more efficient ways of performing tasks. 
•    Your “can do” approach will enable you to manage adhoc tasks and projects
