Associate Procurement Operations Lead SAG (m/f/d)

Your tasks will include:

• Lead projects for the procurement of services and products within the Non-Manufacturing area. Responsibility for MEA and Türkiye in the categories IT & Telecom, Marketing & Communications, Prof. Services, HR Services, Office Supplies,Travel & Expense,Distribution and  Logistics.
• Work closely with functional departments in all non-manufacturing areas based on the above categories as well as with global strategic Procurement
• Implementation of global sourcing strategies and development or derivation of local strategic requirements and transfer of these in cooperation with the functional departments
• Close cooperation with the Procurement Operations Team as well as with the Manufacturing Plant Associate Procurement Operations Lead at the individual sites (Izmit & Adapazari)
• Identify potential for savings in the procurement area and implement them in coordination with management.
• Procurement single contact person for all SAG-related procurement procedures and processes.
• Contribute to the EMEA EBIT and Cost avoidance objectives through negotiations and effective use of the procurement toolbox to reduce materials & services costs.  Continuously improve the company's working capital position and meet other objectives on handsfree, compliance, and supplier concentration.
• Catalog management of several local e-procurement catalogs.
• Supports strategic and transactional buyers in their procurement tasks, warrants that business can run without interruption and stakeholders' satisfaction remains on a high level.
• Develops close relationships with suppliers, acting as their primary point of contact, reviewing their performance, and driving joint cost reduction and innovation initiatives.

This is what your profile should look like:

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
• Strategic, conceptual strength and very good analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and to influence others.
• Result-oriented. Challenge the existing and produce tangible business results.
• Motivated, take initiative, and have a positive personality.
• A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline environment.
• Fluent English and Turkish is a must – any other European language is an asset.
• Very good knowledge of SAP-R3/SRM, MS-Office and cost analysis methods
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Affinity for the automotive/tire industry
