Primary purpose of the position:

• Implementation of Supply Chain and Logistics Execution strategies and standards in markets, including continuous improvement processes to support operational excellence demonstrated in market distribution processes.
• Operational and tactical management of logistics and distribution processes in the market, ensuring agreed service levels for customers are met with targeted performance levels. Coordinate and operationally manage direct distribution activities and liaise with the warehousing team to support the overall company's strategy and needs in the markets.
• Control and operational, as well as tactical management of logistic service partners, contracted in the market.
• Being an operational and tactical representative of Supply Chain - Logistics Execution on the market, with a mission to collaborate with other business functions present in the market and with regional logistics execution functions to drive improvements in efficiency and quality.

Principle duties & Responsibilities:

• Operational and tactical management of distribution operations in the market in cooperation with WH teams and International transportation team.
• Support local business organization in line with EMEA Supply Chain - and Regional Logistics Execution strategy.
• Execution and continuous improvement of best operational standards and practices together with peers and service providers.
• Maintenance of relationships and keeping control of the local logistic service providers and service companies through a set of KPIs and its regular reviews with analyzing and actions focused on performances.
• Active participation and contribution to projects directly or indirectly related to Logistics Execution scope of work and its processes in the market.
• Plan and support tendering process and negotiations with LSP's together with Regional Transport Operations and Procurement.
• Leading, coaching and developing a Distribution controller.

Requirements:

• University degree preferably in Logistic, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering
• Min. 5 years of working experience in warehouse & transportation or other operations function. Overall supply chain knowledge and procurement experience is a strong asset
• Strong interpersonal & leadership skills
• Fluency in English
• Supply Chain execution knowledge
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work with international/multicultural team
• Action and decision-making capabilities
• Wider business vision and strong market orientation
• Discipline in process execution #hybrid
