Location: Kontich, Belgium

The role will require travelling to other locations such as Diegem and Nieuwegein.

In partnership with business leaders, the HR Manager develops and executes Goodyear’s Human Capital Strategy through implementing relevant:

  • Leadership
  • Organization structures
  • Talent development & organizational capability building
  • Inclusive culture
  • Fostering associate engagement

 

  • To enable the organization to deliver the business strategy and objectives.
  • The HR Manager collaborates with COEs and the SSC to deliver integrated solutions to the business needs and associate lifecycle.
  • The HR Manager acts as a strategic partner, associate champion and change agent.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends.

 

Tasks as Country Governor:

  • Manage employee and BeNe labor relations matters, if necessary, with support of LR and/or Legal.
  • Be the spokesperson for works council/unions if applicable.
  • Champion functional HR BPs on country specific requirements during the employee lifecycle (e.g. hiring, firing).
  • Country benefits and pension schemes and rate range governance.
  • Governance of the legislative reports.
  • First point of contact for audits.
  • Governance of country specific processes and latest local regulation in cooperation with Core SSC.

 

Key Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of generalist experience in Human Resources and Talent Management with legislative and labour relations knowhow.
  • Demonstrated, measurable improvements in staffing, talent management and compensation.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Proven experience in leading change and change management.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgium and Dutch Labour Law and Labour relations experience.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.  French is considered an asset.
