Lead Key Account Manager Car Dealer Belux

Primary purpose of the position:

  • Executing sales for the assigned key strategic channel in line with business model and strategy.
  • Developing relationships with customers and providing feedback to the organization on market changes.
  • Propose distribution & value proposition for the assigned key strategic channel.
  • Monitoring and focusing on objectives and results of the key strategic channel.
  • Continuous improvement of profitability and customer satisfaction by identifying and responding to their specific and general needs in harmony with GY-DU objectives.



  • Identify, prevent and act to market trends and changes and spot opportunities and threats.
  • Identify new sales opportunities/customer development.
  • Provide training and co-operation to sales and marketing people from key strategic channel.
  • Organize product presentations, promotional events and actively promote the brands and the name of the organization for the key strategic channel you are responsible for.
  • Manage every aspect of the chosen key strategic channel and maximize the profitable return through managing and developing sell-in, sell-out, logistics, ordering, fleet, marketing, training.
  • Support the country manager when needed in order to achieve the best possible sales results.
  • Prepare and deploy annual business plans for all key customers using all available tools and resources in order to create a winning partnership and added value offering to the key customers.
  • Provide accurate input for demand planning. 
  • Coordinate with customer service to ensure best possible deliveries.
  • Maximize key accounts' satisfaction and make sure they will have the best service by understanding their specific needs.
  • Propose, agree and follow up on marketing plans within the territory and assigned key customers.
  • Intelligence on competition, tire and automotive developments.
  • Sharing best practices internally.



  • College/University degree


Profile & experience:

  • 4-5 years sales experience (similar role) in similar industry (automotive industry or aftermarket) or consulting business (technical products/automotive industry)
  • Strong experience in customer relationship management managing strategic/key accounts
  • Experience in project management 
  • Strong ability to work in a Matrix Organization/environment
  • Strong knowledge of current used software: MS Office …
  • Languages skills: Dutch/French/English
