Off The Road Sales Specialist Flanders (m/f)

Principle duties & responsabilities

  • Concentrates on OTR customers for Flanders. Develop and maintain a close technical / engineering relationship with key OTR end-users. Focus all efforts both Sales and Technical on critical OTR customers in the region to enable Goodyear to become a leading supplier.
  • Responsible for all Off The Road (OTR) sales in terms of profit and volume of the area asigned, Flanders . Perform various field activities:
    • Mine site Audit, give best recommendation for site maintenance and the product to be used.
    • TKPH calculation
    • Follow the performance of GY as well as competitor tires.
    • Upload end-users profile details and performance data on Goodyear OTR management system (EMtrackIII)
    • Analyze tires performance issues, and inspect claim tires
  • Work with field sales team to ensure the best results in selling tires and PS. Perform training to end-users & distributor teams, both in class and hands-on at site.
  • Proactive Solutions Goodyear sales development by informing and educating internal and external customers in the application of these solutions. Establish and control performance guarantees by becoming the main customer contact on tire technical matters & Proactive Solutions.
  • Assist with the expansion/development of OTR sales & support team by working cross-functionally with related Goodyear functions such as: R&D, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Production facilities, and countries
  • Coordinate customer feedback of our tires & solutions for a better development of current and future products.  Interface with Marketing, Sales, and Development.


Education, experience & skills

  • Bachelor Degree (preferable in engineering)
  • Proven sales capabilities: 5 years of sales experience in technical environment. Experienced in performance follow-up work. Experience in Tire industry, mechanical engineering ... is a plus.
  • Analytical and ability to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Team Player, sel-motivated and open for working independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with a variety of personalities.
  • Competent in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  •  Organizational and time management skills with ability to assess, priorities and handle many tasks simultaneously.
