Role Description

Responsible for carrying out the process of Internal Calibration and Verification of measuring systems owned by the internal calibration and verification process as defined by the relevant  documentation. 

Main responsibilities:

• Implement and define instructions, procedures and forms by using the equipment manufacturer’s manual in accordance with Goodyear Corporate documentation.

• Ensure proper and regular calibration/verification data entry and save it for the systems covered by Internal Calibration and Verification process and in accordance with the relevant documentation.

• Resposible for storing and keeping the standards which are used in the Internal Calibration/Verification process. 

• Inspect the measuring system, troubleshoot and repair the measuring system and remove the measuring system in accordance with the defined procedures and instructions.

• Approve the use and prohibit the use of the measuring system which is part of the internal calibration/verification process in accordance with the defined procedures and instructions.

• Implement Goodyear quality objectives related to internal calibration and verification.

• Cooperate with external suppliers in terms of functional specifications of equipment, maintenance and calibration services that belong to the internal calibration and verification process.

• Responsibility for compliance and implementation in practice of all procedures and other documents related to the implemented management systems in the company, as well as other internal regulations and technical standards.

• Work closely with the internal verification and calibration process owner, Quality department, Engineering and Production.  

• Responsibility for ensuring compliance with legal and other requirements during the performance of operational activities in accordance with their authorities and responsibilities. 

Requirements:

• VI/VII degree of education (Mechanical/Electrical or Technological Engineering background)
• Excellent computer skills and use of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and different types of calibration (for cameras, machines and other equipment)
• Knowledge of calculation of measurement uncertainty
• English language skills
• Team spirit
• Adaptability, patience, ability to meet tight deadlines
