Account Executive Airbus (m/f)

 

Primary purpose of the position:

Designs and implements an Airbus key account strategy in alignment with Global Aviation and Regions

Accountable for leading a cross-functional team to secure Goodyear new business wins for relevant Airbus platforms. Responsible for "on-time and on-budget" market introduction timing as reflected in sales plans. Responsible for collaborating with regional teams (GM's, Sales) to support the market introduction of relevant Airbus fitments with current or new customers.

Oversees Airbus daily management for customer inquiries, complaints and RFIs. Provides liaison between internal Goodyear resources (such as legal, engineering, finance, marketing, supply & logistics and management) and Airbus' team.  Leads PCP process for relevant fitments

Overall lead for OE projects (e.g. A321XLR) and "After Market Projects" (e.g. A320neo, A350-900, etc.)

Principle duties and responsibilities:

 

40%:

Develop key account strategy and plans to grow the Airbus business. Lead efforts to secure new business with Airbus (both OEM projects and After market projects)

 

30%:

Frequently interacts with Regional GM's and Sales Teams to support successful market penetration of Airbus fitments with relevant operators. Is the subject matter expert that can make the difference in interactions with existing or new customers

 

30%:

Leads PCP process for all relevant Airbus fitments and ensures all development and manufacturing requirements are well aligned into the Global Aviation Product Road Map  

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MBA
  • 5 or more years of Commercial Engineering experience within the Aviation Industry
  • Successful operation or understanding of a business in a competitive Sales/Marketing environment
  • Ability to analyze business data to recognize emerging trends/opportunities and make fact-based decisions
  • Technical and Project Management knowledge is required
  • Marketing experience is preferred

 

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strategic Selling, Account Management and Planning experience
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in French - Preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the Aviation (Tire) Industry, including competition's approach to each segment
  • Understanding of the interdependence of technology, production and marketing organizations on one another and how to obtain maximum synergies
