Primary Purpose of the Position

• Preserve and prolong the life of manufacturing equipment through Plant Optimization principles that support  Business Center objectives.
• Manage the maintenance team and drive reliability of equipment/systems through the Reliability Excellence 8 Competencies.
• People management – Behavior, performance, engagement, Career  Path, competences levelling,  Ownership development and integrity.
• Zero Loss Thinking & Ensure the execution according Plant Optimization process.
• Develop maintenance skills in the Team, ensuring the activities execution according high quality standard.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
15%- Drive the actions to support DMS in the maintenance areas and Business Center. Management of KPIs of their responsibility area.
Audit the execution of maintenance according systems and processes defined.
Ensure that 100% of the maintenance tasks are done under Work order system.


40%-Management of maintenance activities (CM, PM, PdM).
Provide resource to maintenance execution and continuous develop the organizational capability in your area.
Optimization the process of maintenance with focus on efficiency and losses reduction (Plant Optimization principles).
Eliminating obsolescence within the capital management.


20%- Cost management and accountability in areas of their responsibility.
Feeding the base date of your team through.
Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCFA) for any major Failure and tracking the system.
Drive the GAP analysis for breakdown minor stops and define key actions to achieve Zero Failure.


15%- Support Plant Optimization, focused on RE step 2 and DEC step 3.
Zero Breakdown Culture: Using the PO Methodology, drive the reliability Cultural transformation from reactive to pro-active mindset. Managing human capital with integrity.


10%-Continuous skills development and improve competency-based knowledge and lessons learned.
 Maintain an updated training program for the Maintenance Team.
Education & Certifications:
• Required Bachelors degree in Engineering or 8 years' engineering/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in maintenance and/or engineering
• 1 to 2 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in a Union Free environment.
• Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Zero Loss Concept / TPM / RCM


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong background and thorough understanding of maintenance systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong customer focus, both internal and external.
• Solid background in scheduling, safety and project management.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills (Servant Leader).
• Strong Problem solving skills and mentality.
