Primary Purpose of the Position:

Ensure that all process and equipment capacity studies are up-to-date 

Analize ticket requirements and provide acceptance criteria based on capacity and capability data. 

Provide staffing analysis and being project facilitator on initiatives to optimize labor utilization. 

Facilitate OEE (Overal Equipment Effectiveness) and Continuous Improvement tools education 

Active business center member, participate and lead continuos improvement projects to drive efficiency and performance. 

Support introduction of new products, processes and equipments by providing data analysis and signaling main constraints of every stage of the process.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Continuously updating capacity studies and evaluation of equipment utilization

Determine process capacity based on capabilities and performance

Coordinate with Engineering Department to conduct efficiency studies, justify capital expenditures & recommend plant layout improvements.

Conduct job analysis on positions, evaluating responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions & skill levels.

Participate in continuous improvement activities & act as resource to production members.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering      Desired:  Master's Degree in related field.

Experience:

• 0-2 years' experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering & maintenance associates to achieve cost effective goals.
• Manufacturing co-op experience helpful, but not required.
• Experience in Manufacturing Environment, involvement in Lean Manufacturing projects

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology (Office 365)
• Familiar with MOST, six sigma, Lean manufacturing & SAP.
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
