Application Systems Administrator (Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)

You will play a crucial role in managing and configuring the Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system within our organization. You will work with a cross-functional, cross-continental group of IT infrastructure and software engineers to support value creation in a global R&D organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Configure and administer Siemens Teamcenter system. 

  • Apply system patches and follow the organizational and industry cyber-security standards. Manage user access and security. 

  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and data integrity. Enable high-performance connectivity between long distance locations. 

  • Keep the system up to date. Work with software development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute upgrades and migrations. 

  • Investigate and resolve system-related issues promptly, including end user support within cross-functional, cross-continental R&D organization. 

  • Maintain accurate documentation related to system configurations and processes. 

  • Proactively monitor systems, driving consistent availability. 

  • Maintain and enhance disaster recovery plans. 

  • Regular work in CET time zone hours. Production-environment changes outside of the business working hours. 

 

 Required Education and Experience 

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in administering Siemens Teamcenter version 2312 or newer.  

  • Experience with migration of production Teamcenter environments. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field.  

 

Skills & Abilities 

  • Volume management, Active Integration Gateway. 

  • Scripting skills (batch or powershell). 

  • Deployment Center, MicroServices, Teamcenter Security Services, HTTPS/SSL/Certificates. 

  • Administering Windows operating systems. 

  • Excellent planning and troubleshooting skills. Proactive in managing issues and problems, comfortable with ambiguity. 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to timely, high quality and error free deliverables. 

  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
