Sales Manager - Aviation India

Create Sustainable and profitable revenue for Aviation tire business in India. Provide support to India new business growth, new business plan proposal and execution.

 

Work with Area Sales & Business Development Manager to ensure Goodyear has maximized the distribution network and poses a competitive advantage over competitions. Gathering new business opportunity, introduce and promote Goodyear Aviation new products to airlines.

 

Customer & Distributor Relationship Development
1.    Quarterly performance review with distributors and Sales Rep.
2.    Regularly contact and manage customers' enquiry. 
3.    India Markets Contact Point and coordination.
4.    To coordinate with related parties in India in all business issues such as Logistics & distribution.
5.    To ensure all operations in India is well as plan and align with regional strategies.

 

Demand Forecast Management
Work with Demand Planning Executive to provide accurate and realistic monthly demand forecast for the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process. Provide market intelligence and competitive pricing information to management to enable Goodyear taking a proactive action toward competition.

 

Deliver annual growth targets for revenue, account receivable, share of markets and EBIT.
1. Generate sales as per the target.
2. Payment and overdue management. To ensure
    Airlines and distributors provide up-to-date payment.

 

Experience
At least 8 years' working experience in sales. 

Five plus years sales experience in selling high value products which requires high level of selling skills, preferably in a Multinational corporation. 

Aviation industry experience is an added advantage. Experienced in industry/corporate sales which involves buying organization and high level negotiation. 

Has exhibited courage of conviction, tenacity and persistence. Holds steadfast to a view of what must be done pursuing goals despite significant obstacles or resistance from others.

 

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E/B. Tech) or Graduation in Business Management/Aviation                                           
Regular Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management or MBA

 

Skills & Knowledge : 

  1. Knowledge of High Sea Sales
  2. Knowledge of international payment procurers and international payment instruments
  3. Experience of working on SAP/RAMCO/AMS
  4. Experience of Bidding & Tender Filing
  5. Hands on Experience on Buyer Seller Agreement
  6. Strong understanding of B2B Sales
  7. Strong understanding of Customer Service
  8. Data driven and process oriented
  9. Good inter-personal skills
  10. Excellent Communication Skills
  11. Planning & Analytical Skills
  12. Negotiation Skills
  13. Understanding of Legislative Requirements
