Manager - Channel Management & Business Analytics, Farm & Commercial PBU


Key Deliverables: This position has overall responsibility for providing strategic support to the PBU leader regarding customers, markets and competitors to aid business presentations and support in analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience of making strategy presentations, managing various business growth projects, handled new product introduction, marketing budget and able to work closely with senior management on key projects.


Job Responsibilities:


Support PBU in Business growth projects through market & business inputs to achieve the PBU, EBIT and Share Of Market target.

  1. Support all key internal presentations like Regional Visits & Strategy Meets.
  2. Continuous refinement to improve accuracy forecasting Industry.
  3. Monitor all pricing decisions for the replacement market business based on competition benchmarking.
  4. Monitor key projects such as expansion initiatives, yearly business operating plans and long term business goals.

Provide inputs for timely adherence to Key Regional Planning:

  1. S&OP (Sales & Operation) Marketing meeting.
  2. Monthly MORs (Monthly Operating Reviews).
  3. AOP for upcoming years (Annual Operating Plan).
  4. Follow and project lead indicators for demand projection.

Export Sales

  1. Drive export sales for the Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Pakistan.
  2. Provide back end support in export documentation (pricing approvals, Timely execution of orders and coordinating the payments.

Drive new product development and road map through alignment with technical team and business need

  1. Support PBU in all product portfolio management and identifying the long term product roadmap.
  2. Product: On Track new product development. Project product issues and facilitate resolution through field.
  3. Product performance benchmarking and handling product improvement plans.
  4. Voice of Customer: Gather Voice of customer and highlight to concern for speedy resolution.
  5. Devise Go to Market Strategy to all new products launched in the market.

Manage external data source (external data sources); Manage MIS and analyze industry & economic conditions; Market research/study:

  1. Provide regular and periodic inputs to business regarding industry, economy and rural markets.
  2. ATMA – Quarterly.
  3. IHS – Monthly.
  4. CRISIL – Monthly/ ICRA- Quarterly.
  5. Frost & Sullivan – Market study.
  6. Review of other related periodicals and journals.

Plan and execute annual marketing initiatives

  1. Effective utilization of marketing spends, analyze and report all marketing initiatives performance while monitoring the budget.
  2. Vendor/agency management to ensure smooth role out of activations.
  3. Track timely utilization of POSM in the market place.
  4. Market / Consumer understanding activities (including research, customer interface).
  5. Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends and consumer / customer behavior.
