National Distribution Manager, Cons Repl. Sales

1. Strategic Planning & Execution:

   • Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure seamless product delivery to all regions within the country.

   • Optimize distribution networks to ensure product availability while reducing costs and improving service levels.

   • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align distribution plans with demand forecasts and promotional activities.

2. Distribution Network Management:

   • Oversee a nationwide network of distributors, ensuring all processes align with Goodyear’s operational goals.

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new distributors to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

   • Negotiate contracts and terms with distribution partners to ensure favorable agreements that support business objectives.

3. Operational Excellence:

   • Monitor the performance of the distribution network, including logistics efficiency, delivery timelines, and inventory management.

   • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce supply chain disruptions.

   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Goodyear’s internal policies.

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

   • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution, such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.

   • Provide regular reports on distribution performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

5. Budget & Cost Management:

   • Manage the national distribution budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining service levels.

   • Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 15+ years of experience in sales & distribution, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Proven track record in managing a national or regional distribution network in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement data-driven solutions.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
