Job Title: Fleet Service Technician, BeNeLux

 

Primary Purpose of the position:
Audit the service quality delivered by Goodyear service partners to contracted PPK fleets.

  • Ensure service policy compliance, service effectiveness and cost efficiencies in line with aligned objectives through performance of regular field audits and tracking of service KPI's.
  • Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to feedback audit findings and recommend improvement plans to ensure delivery of contracted service level and cost improvements.
  • Build working relationships with fleet customer workshops, service providers and casing partners to facilitate effective day-to-day service levels and support operational alignment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular fleet and service provider audits to identify existing service quality levels. For example, FOS data accuracy, fitment policy adherence, pressure maintenance, tyre husbandry. Identify clear and concise action plans to support service improvements and ensure policy compliance, service effectiveness and cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure service provider adherence to casing process through regular audits of removed casings, including FOS data accuracy, removal reasons and remaining tread depth. Audit part worn tyre usage to ensure maximisation of assets and support PPK savings. Perform regular checks at casing partner to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for cost improvements (i.e. uneven tyre wear).
  • Support onboarding of new PPK business through efficient and timely inspection of newly contracted vehicles to enable account creations, including addition of new vehicles to existing fleet contracts. Support implementation of Solutions to improve service effectiveness, including potential to deploy solutions where required (i.e. DrivePoint, TPMS).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist the delivery of contracted service levels, including vehicle onboarding/defleeting, inspection performance and damage rate through the audit process. Work closely to identify focus areas, by fleet, and support the delivery of profitable business through the implementation of service improvement plans.
  • Support the adoption of Goodyear approved systems, tools and processes by service providers to manage contracted PPK vehicles, including: Casing returns, identification of Damaged tyres, part-worn stock utilisation and general service execution using tools such as eJob, FleetHub, SL24 portal and the Work To Do List.

 

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Current valid driving licence
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Vehicles/Trailers
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience and proven track record in tyre service and/or retail, commercial vehicle tyre management and working as part of a larger organisation.
  • The ability to grasp new technologies and tools related to fleet maintenance and tyre service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A strong communicator.
