Position:
Sales Representative Truck Netherlands (m/f)
Primary purpose of the position:
- To maintain and develop long-term relationships within the Truck network;
- Ensure long-term relationship as the single point of contact in the Dutch market for Truck tyres;
- Perform sales activities in the Truck market and expand the customer portfolio in line with the strategies, policies and plans to achieve top-line targets;
- Optimize customer satisfaction by continuous End Users Fleet (customers).
Tasks:
- Sell Goodyear Dunlop Truck tyres and services to existing and future customers according to commercial strategies and plans;
- Monitor outcome and results with regards to the sales: volume, price, mix, revenue, supply performance, delivery of services,..;
- Optimize customer satisfaction and contribute to the delivery of Goodyear Dunlop services: market training and consulting on technical and product knowledge, selling skills, retail marketing; implementation of promotions;
- Perform required assignments to fulfill company processes like forecasting, pricing, marketing, communication,..;
- Identify new business opportunities both at the customer-level and in the market. Provide relevant feedback on business information relating customers, consumers, the market and competition to different stakeholders such as sales management, pricing, marketing…
Knowledge & skills:
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills for internal and external purposes;
- Be able to prioritize work activities and manage them accordingly in an accurate, effective and timely manner;
- Be customer orientated and result-driven;
- Be ambitious and motivated;
- Show strong affinity for technology and automotive;
- Dynamic teamplayer;
- Have discipline, be organized and able to work autonomously;
- Have the ability to remain focused & positive in challenging business situations;
- Flexible, no “9 to 5” mentality (flexible work on Saturdays)
- Have a hands-On mentality
- Fluent in Dutch and knowledge of English;
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
Education:
HBO /MBO level or equivalent by experience.
Experience:
A working experience in a commercial field for 2 to 3 years, and particularly in the Truck industry, will be considered a great asset.
