Fleet Service Technician - Iberia

At Goodyear Iberia we want to expand our team, specifically we are looking for a person who wants to grow with us, adding value within Total Mobility department as a Fleet Services Technician.

 

 

Primary Purpose of the Position

Goodyear Total Mobility: Support, auditing, inspection and field advice regarding Tires, Services and Solutions to Goodyear’s direct fleets and together with the Service Providers for those fleets. Monitoring technical aspects and reporting on mileage analysis while bearing the responsibility for giving approval to the work of Service Providers, with particular emphasis on cost-effectiveness and appropriate service level.

 

Principal duties and responsibilities

  1. Tire management, control, monitoring, following up and inspection of all the tires so they are used correctly (reuse where relevant). Establishing guidelines and service policies to achieve the best mileage performance.
  2. Service Providers: Auditing, management, control, monitoring, following up, inspection and approval or rejection of all the work done by the Service Providers. Implementing guidelines and service policies to achieve the best mileage performance.

Solutions:

  1. Tire maintenance services: Auditing, controlling, monitoring and analyzing the services provided on roads.
  2. Retread: To register and promoting the registration of the shipment and monitoring of casings for retread, via e-Casing.
  3. Proactive Solutions: To promote the use of different solutions from Proactive Solutions, and to follow up and analyze data provided by those decision making tools for, with a view to optimizing the mileage performance and forecasting the required attendance for preventive purposes.

Analysis: To extract and analyze all the data concerning Products, Services and Solutions using different tools.

 

Minimum Requirements

  1. Medium grade vocational training or similar.
  2. Post-Sale Service for truck and fleet tires.
  3. Tire technology, Truck and transport industry knowledge.
  4. Claims management.
  5. Microsoft Office (user), Excel (preferably Advanced), Internet (user), Apps (user).
  6. Remote position (home office) based in North part of Portugal area and availability to travel (70%)
  7. High analytical capacity.
  8. Languages: Portuguese and Spanish. English is highly valued.
