Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the Engineering & Technology organization. Establish and implement a strategic roadmap that supports plant, regional, and corporate objectives.

• Ensure the balance Cost-effectively, preserve and prolong the life of our manufacturing equipment through innovative asset management, promoting the ZERO loss culture.

• Engage, empower, and enable associates leveraging best-in-class approaches by delivering Engineering services and solutions in an environment free of accidents emphasizing safety as a value.

• Guarantee an energy matrix sustainable to Business.

• Ensure continuity of the guidelines of the EHS&S Management, Quality Systems, Corporate, and Legal requirements, following the standards and policies established, as well as commitment to high standards of business conduct and ethical behavior.

• Ensure the Organizational Capabilities to deliver sustainable results, generating competitive advantage, through a strategical roadmap: Strategy development (shows direction), process orientation (aligns and influences) and team building (organizes, motivates, and inspires).

• Establish and ensure compliance with the strategic objectives of the Organization related to KPI indicators of Cost Engineering, Utilities Cost & Energy, MRO Inventories, Capital Expenditures, and Reliability.

• Support the Manufacturing Organization in reaching goals established in the areas of Safety, Quality, Conversion Cost, Production, Standards Certification, Policy Compliance, and Internal and External Customers Satisfaction.

• Create a clear mission to develop, optimize, implement and maintain projects and technology that ensure the standardization of systems & processes in the Áreas of Reliability, Projects, and Utilities & Energy.

• Participate in the elaboration of the Business Plan, creating a short-term action to avoid the headwinds and long-term vision to minimize and eliminate the cost impacts in the Engineering Organization.

Job Qualifications:

• Total of more than 12 years of experience

• 5+ years of  experience in maintenance and/or engineering

• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in a Union environment. International exposure will be nice to have

• Demonstrated experience in leading large capital investment projects (equipment/facility / ...)

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, civil, IT, and automation. 

• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. 

• Strong Problem-solving skills and mentality

• Courageous and willing to make decisions

• Collaborative style and ability to influence

• Open-minded, proactive, and able to drive change.

• High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities

• Strong communication skills (written and oral) at all levels of the organization

• Strong financial and business acumen

• Fluent in English
