Plant Quality Manager

Responsibilities:

• You are the key quality & technical leader of the process who will plan, organize & direct all Quality activities within a Business Team or Medium plant Quality team. Lead & Direct the performance of the team to meet objectives (safety, quality, cost, delivery). Partners with the manufacturing counterpart to provide leadership & oversight of the entire process.
• You need to ensure compliance to Goodyear quality standards, GQMTS & customer specifications. Develop, implement, enforce & audit work procedures which ensure quality products at an economical cost. Leader of process area for product quality that meets or exceeds customer requirements.
• You are responsible to enforce Quality, legal compliance, technical standards of the product process & material for the Business Center process area. Responsible for organizational development planning of direct reports. Expected to have business plans in place that provide strategic development within the process & drive to a high performance culture.
• You are the key technical team member accountable to support the business team implementation of continuous improvement, OEE & plant optimization. Key participant in the continuous development of Quality associates. Works closely with the Pillar Team Leader for both strategic & tactical planning and execution.

Qualification:

• You got a Bachelor's degree in STEM field, 10 or more years of experience required in at least three departments, divisions, internal or external locations.

• You have the expert ability to teach and apply systematic problem solving tools and techniques to improve existing processes

• You have the expert ability to lead a technical team in understanding and troubleshooting complex equipment and process problem.

• You with Multiple experiences leading a cross-functional project team, PMP preferred

• You are ability to teach, coach and mentor others

• You with instill positive attitude on peers. Provide positive constructive feedback. Plan and lead meetings. Cascade communications. Manage/ deflect/ diffuse situations. Coach toward finding alternative solutions that meet business priorities/objectives.

• You are a recognized leader in organization driving to achieve high quality results. Delegate subtasks and make teams capable. Set vision, strategy, and plans at team level. Proactively address business opportunities. Lead teams to adjust to changing priorities. Maintain project focus, even when unpopular. Be a change agent. Mentor and coach to expand competencies.
