• Collaborate with global, Regional and local leadership to develop and define FI plans that focus on key performance factors such as losses reduction, process stabilization, waste elimination, cycle time reduction and productivity improvement.

• Leads the plant FI resources (FI Specialists, FI Expert, Black Belts and Green Belts) to ensure that the FI plans are carried out and the objectives are met. Specifically ensures that time commitments are achieved.

• Through the PCCMT utilization, identify gaps and productivity improvement opportunities, and work in conjunction with the F.I. department to eliminate gaps, drive productivity and add gains to the bottom line.

• Determine factory manning and changes in manpower requirements as necessitated by ticket fluctuations and plant capacity.

• Drive creation and maintenance of engineer standards (or time studies where applicable), routings and work center assignments.



• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Quality, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in leading and implementing lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement programs.

• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in a Union environment.

• Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Zero Loss Concept / Total Productive Maintenance / Lean environment.

• Formal training and experience with the Toyota Production System or equivalent Production System.

• Project Management, Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Focus Improvement Expert certification preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and direct cross-functional work teams.

• Strong project & time management skills.

• Knowledge of Zero Loss Thinking & Loss/Financial Stratification.

• Knowledge of tools used in Lean and Six Sigma (5S, Value Stream Map, Pareto, Kaizen Events, SMED, DMAIC).
