Supply Planning Manager Commercial China

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the China Commercial S&OP process considering two brands (Goodyear and Cooper) and two plants (Pulandian and Qingdao).  Ensure that appropriate processes are followed, relevant data and facts are brought to the table to make business choices and decisions using the S&OP forums. 
  • Lead the business initiative from supply planning side to support bus fleet, logistic fleet, OE and other channel service.
  • Drive the S&OP and S&OE discussion with sales and manufacturing together with Demand Planning Manager, build the inventory network plan, to plan the right tire at right time and right location with customer request.
  • Responsible to optimize inventory and working capital for Pulandian and Qingdao plant - ensure over max and under minimum inventory are within range to protect cash & service objectives.
  • Manage import/export to deliver customer request through working with supply planners from other regions.
  • Continue to drive system capability build up, initiate the digital journey in supply planning, optimize the process and improve the efficiency.  
  • Manage and influence key stakeholders, IE, QTEC, production control and business to align the supply choice.
  • Build team capability following Goodyear core competency and Supply Chain technical competency, ensure to build the capable team to support business growth.

 

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in Supply Chain, leading S&OP Process in demand and supply planning / inventory planning。
  • Well versed with Supply/Inventory/Deployment Planning and equipped with necessary analytical and subject matter understanding of the interfaces between demand /supply with customer service and logistics and distribution .

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Capability of buidling effective relationships with people at all levels, driving for change/improvement.
  • Good scenario modelling and mathematical skills complimented with strong problem solving ability
  • Business acumen towards data based decision making and can work in ambigous circumstances and has the ability to navigate through challenging situations using collaborative skills , subject matter expertise and communication skills
  • Project Management
  • Self- motivated and independently seeks to improve business process
  • Ability to deliver result under pressure.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
