Principle Duties and Responsibilities            

  • To be trained with EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • 100% compliance with safety policies & systems requirements.
  • Responsible for the responsibility area safety issues.
  • Factory WAN and LAN network administration.
  • Provides level 1, 2 and 3 technical support for Asia WAN and LAN network.
  • Manage and support Myoffice VPN.
  • Implement, Manage and support all Business Partner connectivity through Singapore Business firewall.
  • Planning Implement, Manage and support all DMZ equipment ( Core switches, F5 and Checkpoint firewall.
  • Manage and support Internet firewall (Checkpoint)  and bluecoat proxy equipment.
  • Updates and maintain Network Inventory database for Asia Pacific via Akron.
  • Provide architecture and strategy recommendations to guide the Telecommunications business.
  • Engineer new tools and processes to optimize existing networking solutions (transport or systems) for enhanced performance or cost.
  • Provide expert consultation to other applications or infrastructure groups on the interaction of networks and networking systems on business functions and/or IT systems.
  • Direct the implementation of networking and/or system changes.
  • Manage complex and multi-disciplinary projects within area of specialization and across functional groups.
  • Provide multiple solutions to business problems, then leverages data to justify, and recommend the appropriate voice and/or data networking improvements that leverage new or existing technologies.
  • Acts as a technical expert.
  • Supervise outsourcing associates in charge of infrastructure and facility operations. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or above.
  • CCNP required.
  • 5 years full time work experience in three or more of the following specialist areas: LAN data and voice communication transports, WAN data and voice communication transports, mobile voice communications services, small and large telephone systems and telephony adjuncts, RAS dialup software and hardware and VPN remote access software and hardware.
  • Good English skills both in written and oral.
  • Possess effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of independent responsibility, initiative, energy, endurance and independence.
  • Strengths include self-confidence, persuasion as well as organizational competence.
  • Highly effective verbal, written, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem determination skills.
