Business Partner, commercial FP&A

Our business is going through an exciting transformation and we are looking for a Finance Business Partner for our Commercial division.


Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial you will be a key member of the FP&A team with responsibility for the Planning, Budgeting, Analytical, Forecasting and decision support for Commercial across Australia and New Zealand.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasts for Commercial ensuring the information provided is high quality, well understood and on a consistent basis
  • Delivery of monthly Commercial management reporting packs, including cost centre performance reviews, with sufficient insight to allow appropriate decisions to be made
  • Delivery and development of analytics to support business decisions within Commercial space


Required Experience & Education:

  • Demonstrated senior experience in a financial planning and analysis role gained in a large FMCG or product marketing environment
  • Demonstrated management exposure within an FP&A finance function
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A proven track record of achieving measurable business objectives
  • Formal accounting qualifications


Furthermore, you will possess the following skills & knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and their linkage with financial planning
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior management
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office - Excel to advanced level and Word, PowerPoint to intermediate level
  • SAP ECC/ BI, TM1 and Cognos BI experience is preferred but not essential
