This EHS Coordinator role plays a pivotal role in consistently delivering on our vision where no one gets hurt 

This role will see you operating in a fast paced, commercially focused and highly results driven organisation. 

Reporting to the EHS Advisor and National EHS Manager you will provide support and work with the EHS team on key projects.

Your days will be busy and varied as you manage the following duties:

  • Engage in educating and influencing stakeholders across Australia with support on EHS matters.
  • You will enjoy a high level of ownership, with a strong focus on collaboration with other team members and internal stakeholders in support and delivery of overall HR and business strategies and deliverables.
  • Assist to ensure compliance to Goodyears EHS Systems and all relevant statutory EHS obligations
  • Developing & implementing requirements
  • Updating or developing EHS policies & procedures in line with relevant legislation
  • Support the team with all EHS requirements, including:
  • Incident reporting and incident investigations
  • Contractor Management Requirements
  • Coordinating EHS Site Management Plans and Emergency Management Plans
  • Supports leaders and effectively handles EHS enquiries within Australia as required

To be considered you will need: 

  • Minimum Cert 4 in OHS
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Experience in engaging, building and managing a number of key stakeholders across blue and white collar, preferably industrial or retail environment. 
  • Exposure to various matters and creating solutions that are commercial and pragmatic
  • Influencing and coaching skills will be key in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a range of different stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate and influence your stakeholders
