The Role

This EHS Consultant role plays a pivotal role in consistently delivering on our vision where no one gets hurt.  In this role you will work with a number of key stakeholders across the Australia and New Zealand business. Reporting to the National EHS Manager you will provide support and work with the EHS team on key projects.

 

There is flexibility on where this role will be based within Australia.  This role will see you operating in a fast paced, commercially focused and highly results driven organisation.  This role will see you working closely with the business/function leaders to engage and influence as well as advice, support and educate stakeholders on EHS matters. 

 

You will enjoy a high level of ownership, with a strong focus on collaboration with other team members and internal stakeholders in support and delivery of overall HR and business strategies and deliverables.

 

Required Experience & Education:

As an experienced EHS professional used to building relationships with the business, you will have proven experience of doing so with key stakeholders. Influencing and coaching skills will be key in this role.

 

Ideally your experience stretches across blue and white collar environments with the ability to engage and manage a number of key stakeholders.  Providing advice and counsel to managers is a critical aspect of this role.  Your excellent influencing and strong communication skills are critical, alongside a strong work ethic and the below attributes and skills;

· Creating solutions that are commercial and pragmatic

· Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a range of different stakeholders

· Ability to motivate and influence your stakeholders

· Excellent planning & organisational skills
