About You

As an experienced HR practitioner with sound ER knowledge you will thrive on being part of a team, engage your peers in pressure testing your thinking on cases and enjoy being connected. With experience that ideally stretches across blue and white-collar environments you will:


  • Have demonstrated knowledge of Employment Law in Australia and a degree in HR or related discipline
  • Be comfortable and confident in managing the end to end process of complex investigations, workplace grievances and disciplinary discussions
  • Be comfortable to influence a range of personalities at all levels with a development and coaching approach
  • Thrive in a fast paced, results driven environment due to excellent organisational skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with an ability to act with integrity


About the Role 

Reporting to the HR Operations & Safety Manager, this role will leverage your ER knowledge to manage the end to end process of workplace investigations, grievance management and disciplinary discussions and outcomes. This requires providing quality recommendations and advice on cases to enable business decisions and help manage business risk. In addition to the above this role will entail:


  • Responsibility for advising on all HR policies and processes, award and contract provisions and entitlements to associates.
  • Being the first point of contact for managers and supporting them on all people matters including, absence management, performance management and grievance/dispute resolution.
  • Coaching and increasing the capability of line leaders to manage and increase performance of their people.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects that deliver towards the overall HR Strategy
  • Monitoring issues and reporting key trends, and where appropriate make recommendations and develop solutions in partnership with the business and the broader HR team
  • Creating and updating company policies and processes
