About the role

 

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Products this role is responsible for understanding where the market is today and where it is heading tomorrow ensuring Goodyear Dunlop is able to capitalize on opportunities. In detail, this role will:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the market and competitor landscape to identify growth opportunities and uncover trends
  • Research our consumer segments to understand needs and behaviors and what they value in our products
  • Remain connected with our regional team to share and gain insights on the bigger picture
  • Provide regular industry and product performance reporting
  • Design and development of database models and forecasting tools
  • Work closely with multiple internal stakeholder groups as well as manage external vendor relationships

 

About You

Naturally analytical, you love data and searching for valuable insights and turning them into real actions that align to the strategic objectives of an organization. You thrive in working across internal and external stakeholders of all levels and being challenged by a fast-paced and continually changing environment. You are curious, optimistic, able to think strategically and know how to prioritise your time well in grappling with large volumes of data.  You don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail and have a strong focus on accuracy.  Your technical proficiency in excel and statistical modelling tools will be coupled with a confident and balanced communication style. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Highly experienced in multi-layer customer sales engagement
  • High level of cold calling and new business acquisition strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills essential
  • Understanding of financial processes and reporting to evaluate business metrics
