Program Description

The Consumer Marketing undergraduate internship program provides students with practical work experience and exposure to one of the many areas of the marketing function, allowing them to work collaboratively across the organization on meaningful projects and assignments in support of key growth initiatives. This is part of an intentional effort around building a pipeline of candidates for future permanent openings. In addition to challenging, engaging and interesting work assignments, students also have the opportunity to meet and interact with peers from other universities working as interns on other Goodyear teams, as well as benefit from considerable exposure to senior leaders and subject matter experts.


Content Marketing Internship


This internship opportunity will be based out of our Royal Oak, MI facility and will focus on a project which crosses many of the creative marketing disciplines. It will involve working with any of our portfolio of brands around the areas of social media content creation, digital advertising, design principles, video editing, photo editing, earned media, dynamic creative templates and more.


  • Social Content Creation: develop a plan and produce content for upcoming brand campaigns; intern may also be responsible for putting together latest social content by channel.

  • Dynamic Creative Template Development:  Work closely with the brand teams to create new templates for use in future campaigns.

  • Video Production: develop short-form content for brand, promotion, or company across platforms

  • Creative Ideation: have cultural curiosity and interest in creating the future of marketing as part of creative ideation sessions with larger team. Creative ideation will be a critical lever in how we connect our brands to relevant trends and key consumers to ultimately grow

  • Engage with various internal departments, including PR, Communications, social media, and Consumer Brand Marketing, and our agencies to support our growing organizational content needs 




  • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required

  • You must be a currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or any other relevant field and able to commit to working for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2023
