About the Position 
AndGo by Goodyear is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that automates the tedious aspects of vehicle maintenance, making it easier and less time-consuming for fleets to perform services on their vehicles. AndGo functions as a startup and is fully backed by Goodyear. 
The Sales Development Representative, AndGo will drive growth in revenue through identifying, prospecting, and helping sign new customers. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the initial stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to qualifying, and partnering with Account Executives to help sign new customers. 
This position is critical in building a pipeline of potential customers and driving revenue growth while increasing brand awareness. This role is instrumental in shaping the sales strategy and ensuring the startup reaches its sales objectives. The incumbent will work directly and closely with the Managing Director for AndGo. 
As the main point-of-contact for new and existing customers, the Sales Development Representative will analyze performance data, identify new growth opportunities, and providing strategic/actionable insights to propel the business forward. Experience in collaborating with product marketing and building marketing materials is key.

This is a HYBRID work opportunity - all associates must be in the San Francisco office 2 days/week. 
 

Primary Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation: 
•    Identify potential customers through various lead generation activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events. 
•    Cultivate relationships with potential clients to move opportunities through the sales funnel. 
•    Understanding the target market, gather data on demographics, preferences, and buying behaviors. 
•    Build relationships with individuals and businesses within the industry or related industries. 
•    Network and offer value resources, such as: ebooks, webinars, running targeted advertising campaigns on social media platforms and others (email marketing, inbound marketing, and/or events).
Sales Presentations/Demonstrations: 
•    Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of the company's software solutions to potential clients. 
•    Clearly communicate the value proposition of our solutions and how they address clients' specific needs.
Negotiation and Closing: 
•    Assist with negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close sales and meet company’s sales targets. 
•    Collaborate with internal departments to ensure contract terms are fulfilled. 
•    Oversee the entire sales process and ensure that deals are successfully negotiated and closed. 
•    Manage high-value or complex deals, negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with potential clients or partners. 
•    Work closely with the sales team to overcome objections, answer questions, and provide the necessary support to ensure that deals reach the closing stage. 
•    Forecast future sales revenue based on the pipeline and historical data. 
•    Use data and analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.     
Account Management: 
•    Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, seek referrals, and provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction/cultivate long-term partnerships. 
•    Maximize revenue, customer retention, and satisfaction while contributing to long-term business sustainability and growth.
Reporting and Forecasting: 
•    Accurately forecast sales targets and ensure they are met. 
•    Report on sales activities and update customer relationship management systems regularly. 
•    Provide support to overall sales functions and efforts.       

 

Required Education and Experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired. 
•    3 or more years of direct business-to-business software sales experience.
•    Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
•    Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy.
•    Experience in collaborating with product marketing and building marketing materials.

 

Skills and Abilities
•    Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential and existing clients.
•    Excellent presentation and demonstration skills to effectively represent the software solutions, address customer needs and overcome sales objections.
•    Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
•    Proficiency in using CRM software for managing sales pipeline and client interactions.
•    Strong problem-solving skills to address customer needs and overcome.

The pay range for this position is 05 - SFE05: 88732 - 126759 - 164787 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
