Primary Purpose of the Position

 This analyst role on the North American Wholesale billing team is responsible for key components of the order to cash process, focusing on SAP billing, National account billing, claims and corrections. This analyst should be a change champion with a focus on project management, problem diagnosis & resolution, and process improvement.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently & effectively perform custom/miscellaneous Billing/Corrections functions in order to meet department objectives & customer needs.
• Research & proactively recommend tools, ideas & new technology to improve existing processes in order to meet internal/external demands.   
• Take a substantial role in projects related to Billing/Corrections and be significantly involved with their design, testing and implementation.
•  Perform ad hoc billing data analytical analyses, as needed, for AR and Billing/Corrections.

Required Education and Experience

• Required: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2 years of experience in billing/customer master/pricing &/or claims.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, SAP and GY Mainframe.
• Ability to support accounting/finance decisions with logical evidence and persuasively present position.
• Expertise in Goodyear's sales & marketing programs in policies in all channels of business (acquisition cost, rebates, discounts, returns, price support, etc.).
• Good presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
