Primary Purpose of the Position 

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable / Business to Business Collections Specialist! You’ll be the go-to person for handling both internal and external inquiries about business-level receivable accounts. Your main responsibility will be managing the delinquency on a portfolio of accounts, all while providing outstanding customer service. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contacting customer’s daily to ensure payments are made by the due date.
  • Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from the customer, sales team and other departments.
  • Resolve collections by examining customer’s payment process, payment history and billing setup and coordinating customer contact with the Credit Manager and/or Sales Teams.
  • Field incoming calls and emails, providing outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Required: Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree completed in accounting/finance or Business Related field.
  • 0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or business experience preferably in AR / Collections.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Customer service experience.
  • Sales Inbound and/or Outbound call experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer systems: MS Office products, (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SAP experience preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills that establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly.
  • Ability to support accounting/finance decisions with logical evidence and persuasively present position.
  • Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally and written effectively with all levels of the organization.
