Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the law department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.The Legal Administrator will be responsible for new vendor onboarding and will serve as the primary contact with vendors regarding onboarding and invoice questions.They will also handle data entry, data management, and reporting for key law department systems, and provide day-to-day direct support to the members of the law department.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Set up new matters and accurately input data into key legal department systems, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and correctly formatted. Communicate with clients and other parties to gather information and provide updates.
- Legal Vendor Onboarding: Set up and onboard new law firms and legal vendors, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met. Serve as primary contact with legal vendors on onboarding and invoice matters.
- Improve and maintain Law Department efficiency including coordinate communications, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, process expense reports, process invoices and maintain electronic files.
- Monitor service of process and ensure all matters are properly assigned and documented.
Education & Certifications
Required:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English (both verbal and written communication) to effectively fulfill job responsibilities
Desired:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with data entry/vendor management.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with data entry/vendor management.

- Highest level of ethical conduct and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish good working relationships with legal team and legal vendors.
- Highly motivated, efficient, organized and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Committed to delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with databases and document management tools.
- Experience working with outside counsel billing systems preferred.
