The Agile Coach plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation by guiding teams and stakeholders in the adoption of agile methodologies. He/she will educate, mentor, and empower teams to embrace agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Through process optimization, change management, and organizational alignment, the Agile Coach facilitates the delivery of value, enabling digital product teams to adapt and thrive in dynamic digital environments to deliver value iteratively and adapt quickly to evolving market demands. Expertise in agile frameworks and ability to foster a growth mindset will be critical in driving innovation and driving success in our digital transformation efforts.

 

​​​​​​Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Guidance and Coaching: coaching and mentoring teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. It also includes facilitating the adoption and implementation of agile frameworks and supporting organizational change efforts.
•    Coach and mentor agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
•    Facilitate the adoption and implementation of agile frameworks.
•    Support organizational change and promote a culture of agility.
Process Improvement: evaluating and optimizing agile processes and practices. This includes defining and tracking key agile metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the utilization of agile tools and technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement: collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and fostering cross-functional collaboration and communication. Includes providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders to keep them informed about progress and challenges.

Education & Certifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field

Desired    
•    Master’s degree or BPM certification preferred.
•    Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
•    SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Agilist (SA)
•    Agile Coach Certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
 

Experience
•    Previous experience working as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or in a similar role within agile environments is essential.
•    Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in agile software development or digital transformation initiatives.
•    Experience in leading and facilitating agile transformations within organizations of varying sizes and industries is highly valued.
•    Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring teams, driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of agility is important.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities    
•    Strong understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
•    Excellent coaching, facilitation, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization.
•    Solid understanding of software development processes and practices.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
•    Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•    Leadership qualities with a focus on servant leadership and empowering teams.
•    Familiarity with agile tools and technologies used for collaboration, project management, and tracking metrics (e.g., Jira, DevOps toolchain).
•    A continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in agile and digital transformation.
