China Consumer Demand Planning Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

You are requst to improve S&OP,S&OE,RvCC, AOP process health level:

  • Own the demand planning process for the cluster; develop the linkages among the cross-functional team; provide guidance for and align on a robust demand-based forecast for the countries at all meaningful levels, supporting both S&OP (18-24 months) and RvsCC (5-year) horizon. Employ an effective demand segmentation strategy to focus on the key products and key customers while using statistical forecast as basis for the rest of the volume.
  • Develop discipline of incorporating sales and marketing inputs into the demand plan; drive the consensus between the Cluster (top-down) and Country roll-up (bottom-up) view of demand, supported by documentation of assumption changes, risk and opportunities and reasons to believe. Ensure a robust handoff to Supply Planning to promote an Advantaged Supply Chain that will ensure product availability and optimize working capital investment.
  • Feed the demand input into the cluster and regional S&OP process; provide fact-based advice to the business to facilitate the cluster decisions on allocation of available supply. Propagate the demand signals into the organization (Supply, Finance, Procurement, Sales and Marketing, Product Management).
  • Drive demand planning business process excellence through standardized and meaningful processes and aids, aligned with global and regional standards. Facilitate a demand planning culture that ensures that monthly forecast submission deadlines are respected, and  drives key performance objectives of forecast accuracy and sales plan stability.

You are responsibility to continuously drive the optimization on demand planning effectiveness and effeciency:

  • Align and establish the ABP process with pricing, distribution,marketing and sales team to identify the clear R&O;
  • Establish dollarized S&OP process
  • Drive the business analysis for channel-based demand discussion.
  • Lead and standardize the SFA loss analysis and idenfity the action plans by each building blocks.
  • Collaborate with region team for ML enhancement.
  • Drive  continuous improvement projects or new initiatives to drive changes.

Required Experiences and Knowledge:

  • You with 5 years working experience in sales operations, marketing operations, demand / supply planning at minimum.
  • You with 2-3 years working experience on continuous improvement within sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management or operations planning.Supply Chain and operation related experience is a plus.
  • You with experience in S&OP process design and optimization.
  • You with excellent communication and data presentation skills, ability to present complex analytical data and results in a simple way.
  • You are a  professional and interpersonal skills in working with sales/marketing managers, high flexibility and ability to drive change and deliver results under pressure.
  • You are self-confidence and assertiveness in questioning numbers and challenging assumptions being made by others.
  • You with excellent negotiation skills / experience with diplomatic handling of challenging cross functional and business relationships by persuading, convincing and build partnerships in order to reach consensus.
  • You with Data analysis, e.g. tableau, python is a plus.
