Commercial Product and Solution Manager - China

Primary Purpose of the Position:

  • Develop and execute commercial product and tire management tools portfolio strategy short term and long-term covering OE, replacement to drive business growth       

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute short (1yr) and longer term (5 yrs.) product plans according to overall strategic business plan of China Commercial, bringing together the key areas of product management responsibility into a cohesive Product Portfolio and Tire Management Strategy including new tire, retread, tire management tools
  • Product Lifecycle Management. Work with local sales team to develop new product sales marketing plan, route to market, drive sales with regular meetings, market analysis, testimonials, training materials, launch campaigns etc

 

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • In charge of Product and tire management requirements analysis on different market segmentation, competitors’ portfolio and performance monitoring and reporting. Ensure key changes are captured, reported and built into strategic and tactical product plans
  • Analyze product/retread cost, margin and mix to provide recommendations to the business on tactical plans and financial performance

 

Tire Management & Beyond Tire Solution Project Management

  • Develop the right model, business case locally leveraging global capability

 

Product Material and Training

  • Develop product sales material to OEMs, fleets and channel, conduct corresponding trainings

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering or Business bachelor
  • Above 8 years working experience. Minimum 3-year product, market management experience in truck & bus tire sector
  • Sales or general marketing experience with truck & bus fleets, OEMs and tire dealers
  • Product or marketing management
  • Tire and automobile market insight and technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Project management
