Data Scientist Intern

Responsibilities and Tasks:
•    Assist data scientists in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
•    Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze and mine large-scale datasets, uncovering potential patterns and trends.
•    Contribute to feature engineering and model development, building predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
•    Support the business team in data-driven decision making, providing data insights and recommendations.
•    Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in the field of data science, continuously learning and applying new techniques and methods.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
•    Master students or above at senior year in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Familiarity with fundamental concepts and techniques in data science, including data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, feature selection and engineering, machine learning algorithms, etc.
•    Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R, with strong programming skills.
•    Experience with data processing and analysis tools such as SQL, Pandas, NumPy, etc.
•    Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred:
•    Demonstrated performance and experience in data science competitions or projects.
•    Familiarity with generative AI techniques, such as Langchain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and prompt engineering.
•    Interest and research experience in related fields such as natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision (CV).
