DevOps Engineer

Primary Purpose of the Position

This position is a member of Global IT Digital and Analytics team, reporting to the Cloud services team leader. The incumbent will work in partnership with global & cross functional business/IT teams. This position is responsible for providing systems engineering and operation support one or more digital products/applications.  through hands-on development (enhancements or break fix), release, and deployment services.  May be part of a product team or general application portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and operation support one or more digital products/applications through hands-on development (enhancements or break fix), release, and deployment services.  May be part of a product team or general application portfolio
• Provide product delivery support, platform support
• Develop & implement adoption of Goodyear CI/CD toolchain with various vendors

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or in lieu of degree 6 years of IT experience
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in IT.
• Experience  with Azure, AWS, Hashicorp (Terraform, Vault), Ansible, Atlassian (JIRA), Azure DevOps / Visual Studio, Selenium, Ruby, Python, GitHub, Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, Open Source technologies, Networking technologies (SDN,WAFs, SGs)
• Experience with Mulesoft, SAP preferred
• Azure, AWS, Hashicorp (Terraform, Vault), Ansible, Atlassian (JIRA), Azure DevOps / Visual Studio, Selenium, GitHub, Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, Open Source technologies, Networking technologies (SDN,WAFs, SGs)
• Strong verbal and written communication with strong command of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible working hours as needed on special occasion
