Responsibilities

- You will operate as an External Communications Center of Excellence, serving as the APAC steward of the corporate brand, including management and enforcement of the corporate identity guidelines across region by partnering with Marketing Communications team at the regional and local level.  
- You will develop and execute a regional media relations plan, including managing regional resources for media monitoring and analytics, developing regional news releases and pursuing relevant. editorial opportunities. Lead the APAC crisis communications community of practice, including planning tools, templates and communications skills training courses to guide business unit and country communications leads as issues arise, and to directly lead those issues with a regional dimension.  
- You need to lead the regional crisis communications community of practice, including planning tools, templates and training courses to guide business unit and country communications leads as issues arise, and to directly lead/support issue management/crisis management based on needs.   
- You need to support the development and execution of a regional sustainability and community engagement plan by proliferating global strategy. 
 

Qualifications:

Experiences:
- You with 8+ years of experience in communications; transportation, automotive or related industry a plus.
- You are proven track record developing and executing creative communication strategies to maximize visibility/brand awareness.
- You have extensive experience working with the news media -- local, national, trade and sports.
- You have experience in anticipating and managing reputational threats.
- You with agency/vendor management experience.

Knowledge/Skills:
- You with excellent communication skills, both verbal & written in English.
- You must be self-directed, task-oriented and reliable.
- You must have superior writing skills and ability to identify and deliver storytelling/engaging content.
