Market&Product Strategy Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain car parc information across the region to ensure communication of strategy and alignment of product detailed requirements with countries as well as providing input for AOP and RvCC definition.                 
  • Establishing deep understanding of markets in terms of vehicle population, size fitments, growth drivers, and trends. Analysis future car trends to understand new market size and future tire market trends.           
  • Develop process for resource mapping and tracking to establish the feasibility for all new product and liaise with technical community to align future resources and technical requirements to match future market requirements.                  
  • Manage the PCP process improvements through definition of KPIs and collecting project and process data. Develop and maintain PCP project and data to define best practices for establishing PCP process improvements and providing better projects business decisions during PCP reviews. 
  • Strategic liaison creating alignment with Market, Channel, Product, Technology and Manufacturing 5 year roadmaps to identify and bring consumer relevant innovations to the market. Requires highly quantitative capability and use of planning tools including Consumer Research, Market Segmentation, Product Performance Db, TCP, APODP and R v C.                  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.                                         
  • MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred.                                                       
  • More than 8 years’ experience in multiple areas including marketing, data analysis, process development, manufacturing, or supply chain.  Prior experience managing project across multiple functions.  Experience working at a fast pace with varied disciplines and individuals to drive accountability for deliverables.  Experience in data and trend analysis with high skills in programing, building macros to extract and present data through recurrent information updates.
  • Knowledge of data processing and continuous improvement process. Ability to work in a multi-functional environment. Willingness to change and ability to drive changes that improve quality of communications and increase the effectiveness of strategies and plans. Key knowledge of vehicle market, tire distribution structures & behaviours, tire technology and software programs and programing (Macros) such as MS Office tools including Excel, Access Powerpoint.
