Primary Purpose of the Position:

Leads the development and deployment of pricing strategies which maximize the volume, revenue and profitability of consumer REPL and OE. Establishes regular pricing reviews incorporating the impact of a changing macro-economic and competitive market environment. Leads the development, deployment and quarterly review of gross-to-net and pricing promotion plan

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and deployment of pricing strategies which maximize the volume, revenue and profitability of consumer REPL.  This would include

           defining the REPL price strategy/architecture across the Goodyear product portfolio, across channels (distributor, 4S, key accounts, retail and online) and vs competition.  This would include setting the floor price and sell-in, recommended sell-through/sell-out price for distributors, 4S, key accounts, retail and online channels for existing and new skus

  • Leads the development and deployment of pricing strategies which maximize the volume, revenue and profitability of consumer OE.  This would include partnering with the Asia Pacific/China OE Sales team in establishing RMI contracts and APRs with OEM customers
  • Establishes regular pricing reviews incorporating the impact of a changing macro-economic and competitive market environment.  This would include the regular tracking of competitive pricing actions/movement (retail and online) , raw material cost trends and the establishment of a pricing dashboard
  • Leads the development, deployment and quarterly review of gross-to-net and pricing promotion plans

 

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' work experience with 3+ years' experience in data/sales/pricing analytics role
  • Work experience in revenue management, including setting market-backed sell-in, sell-through and sell-out pricing in distribution, retail, 4S, OEM and online channels
  • Work experience in managing a team
  • Work experience in the tire industry is a plus
  • Strategic thinking, ability to see trends and set a vision for the future
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to analyze and propose well-thought out solutions
  • Strong multi-functional collaboration skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle tough business situations
  • Effective written and oral English communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
