Primary Purpose of the Position:

  • Develop the Gross to Net program for distributor RP channel to drive volume and EBIT growth
  • Enhance the discipline and transparency on pricing management to improve operation excellence
  • Improve channel margin via enhancing price stability to drive sustainable growth
  • Optimize both sell-in and sell-through programs to reconcile price tactics and price strategy in distributor channel and to drive sustainable volume, share, and margin growth

 

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize promotion application, communication and redemption process, enhance sell-through data monitoring, reduce the lead time of rebates redemption, reduce the disputes between customer and Goodyear on promotion understanding
  • Manage price difference among distributors to drive pricing harmonization
  • Modify promotion applied by sales team through validating market price, comparing price discrepancy, then finalizing the program to management team with solid margin analysis each month
  • Analyze price competition, channel margin to provide timely and comprehensive market price dynamic review to management team
  • Analyze promotion effectiveness and propose continuous improvement on promotion ROI for both margin and volume growth
  • Design pricing plan to drive growth on niche products, and pilot areas/channels

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, post graduate qualification is preferred
  • 3 years or above solid experience in data analysis is a must
  • 3 years or above solid experience of pricing is a must
  • Experience of trade promotion management is desired
  • Background of marketing or sales is preferred
  • Working experiences in consumer tire industry and management role is preferred
  • Strategic thinking to meet both business target while complying with corporate strategy
  • Effective cross-functional communication skill
  • Acumen on business opportunity and risk regarding to price and promotion
  • Ability to solve problem creatively
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrates high levels of energy, drive, motivation and enthusiasm and receiving satisfaction from getting good results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
