Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of the Product Support Specialist is to support the Product Support Manager in enhancing Goodyear Aviation tire performance, improving customer satisfaction, supporting product development, and ensuring accurate demand forecasting. This is achieved through a combination of technical support, data analysis, customer engagement, and after-sales service, all aimed at helping the company meet its business objectives.
In this role, the Product Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in:
- To support meet AOP and RvCC through providing knowledge of Goodyear Aviation products, it's technology and customer service as well.
- To Improve tire performance through monitoring tire maintenance analysis, collect and analyze landing record from end user. Support tire OE development for company in the region.
- To Analyze tire landing performance to help sales and supply chain to improve tire demand forecast accuracy. Perform regular customer visit and support sales team's business development. Perform annual tire performance review for customer.
- To perform ramp check and conduct training for customer. Follow up with customer complain about tire defect. Follow up with tire failure case if necessary.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
(35%)Develop an effective product support network to enhance sales & marketing activities to achieve AOP and RvCC
- Develop and Implement a comprehensive product support plan for Aviation Tire
- Assure achievement of desired product support outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements
(25%)Improve Tire performance and Customer Product Knowledge to achieve targeted guarantee performance
- Provide tire maintenance training to customers
- Conduct Ramp Check, Inspect and provide analysis on tire incident to improve product performance
(25%)Customer Service and Satisfaction improvement
- Provide good services by building relationships with the customer to best serve their needs
(15%)Tire Demand Forecast Accuracy
- Regularly analyze landing cycle to gain a better understanding of the tire performance, to support Sales and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy
- Develop landing performance analysis report
Requirements
- 5 years of experience, 5 years plus in technical, Qtech, production or product support position. Tires or Aviation industry experience is an added advantage.
- Has exhibited courage of conviction, tenacity and persistence. Holds steadfast to a view of what must be done pursuing goals despite significant obstacles or resistance from others.
- Strong Product and technical with customer service/technical support experience
- Good customer services and follows up.
- Data driven and process oriented.
- Good inter-personal skills.
- Negotiation skills with strong persuading power.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Strong English all reading, writing and speaking
