Reliability Manager, Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

  • You general accountability for plant reliability performance in all plants in the AP Region (9 plants). Specific accountability to follow specific strategies to improve plant reliability  performance and the related services available at the plant level.
  • You will continuously work with the plant engineering teams to improve workplace safety, quality, and equipment reliability & availability, in an environment free of accidents emphasizing safety as a value.
  • You are responsible to lead the RE pillar at regional level and ensure the implementation of systems and processes according to the methodology of Plant Optimization, ensuring standardization and tracking processes across the regional footprint.
  • You need to support and update performance scorecards to visually demonstrate gains in the space of reliability, safety and energy conservation.
  • You are also request to support compliance activities at plant level using guidelines of EHS&S Management, Quality Systems, Corporate and Legal requirements, following the standards and policies established, as well commitment to high standards of business conduct and Ethical behavior.

 

Qualifications:

  • You recieved a bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology. 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership assignment in an international & matrix organization
  • You with at least 7 or more years leading and managing teams in a technical / product organization across multi-countries.
  • You preferably have 5+ years of experience in a engineering leadership position in the tire or automative industry (highly technical product environment).
  • You are with solid and proven experience with securing business success through managing relathionships with various internal & external stakeholders.
  • You with demonstrated technical acumen to engage, interact and direct technology resources.
  • You with Start-up minded - Creativity and “think big” perspective to bring fresh ideas to strategy.
  • You are able to analyze and grasp a situation quickly from different perspectives and create well-reasoned solutions.
  • You have demonstrated ability to use data/metrics to justify requirements, build business cases and measure performance.
  • You are an Agile management style person - able to adapt to changes in priorities with ease, comfortable working in a “gray zone” while defining the way forward. 
  • You are experienced negotiator adept at influencing stakeholders and 3rd party providers.
