Primary Purpose of the Position:

Lead the regional FP&A activity for Commercial PBU:

  • Lead regional processes including but not limited to MOR, AOP and RvCC. Strive for ways to keep improving the forecasting process
  • Prepare monthly package and conduct review for the PBU, and provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support growth and improve profitability and working capital

Be the business partner for China Commercial team:

  • Assist commercial team to achieve profitable growth by providing timely financial and strategic analysis including the preparation of CPEM, new Go to Market business model evaluation and other ad-hoc requests
  • Manage working capital



  • Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities for commercial PBU for both region and China.  This would include the generation of monthly/quarterly/annual EBIT/FCF forecasts (MOR/AOP/RvCC) and monthly variance/operational analysis of business results
  • Provide financial analysis/evaluation of CapEx/growth projects for Commercial China.  This would include analyzing the reasonability of inputs provided by multi-functional teams and reviewing the financial viability during the gate reviews
  • Continuously improve/optimize/automate the financially planning process by reaching out to the regional/GBS FP&A team
  • Manage, mentor and develop direct reports including training & development, annual leave planning, succession planning, performance appraisals and multi-skilling.



  • 8-10 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.  If the candidate has large MNC FP&A experience with focus on business and customer development, the working experience could be 6-8 years
  • Strong business sense: Strategic thinker with strong financial skills and a proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiative
  • Great communication skills and demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise and insightful updates on business issues
  • Proven analytical and technical competence through various Goodyear finance assignments
  • Working knowledge of Local/US GAAP
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to analyze and propose well-thought out solutions
  • Energetic, optimistic, creative and innovative …a team player
  • Effective written and oral English communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • ERP systems knowledge (particularly SAP) a plus
