The role has a dual responsibility as Regional Functions, PBU & China Talent Manager and as Regional Lead for Leadership Development across Asia Pacific Region. The incumbent will be responsible for all Talent Management activities for Regional Functions, PBU & China region as well as streamlining, improving & executing the Leadership Development Strategy for Asia Pacific Region.  

 

The Role:

  • Manages all aspects of the Regional Functions, PBU & China Talent agenda i.e. develops & executes an integrated talent strategy in partnership with the country HRD & Regional Talent Team. Achieves execution excellence in deployment of global talent tools and processes across Regional Functions & China. Leverages data & analytics to inform talent decisions and track progress.
  • Partners with HRD & HRBP’s to build line manager, associate and HR capability. Effectively identifies and deploys either global or custom programs that meet critical business needs.
  • Act as a consultant to HRBPs on Performance Development Process (PDP). Supports HRBPs with building managers and associates capability to have quality conversations and feedback sessions.
  • Is a trusted advisor and provides thought leadership to internal customers on all aspects of Talent Management incl. PDP, Succession, Leadership Development, Talent Assessments, Engagement, Change Management & Org Effectiveness Interventions.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • At least 10 years of human resources experience, with at least 5 years focusing on talent management with a heavy emphasis in the areas of PDP, Succession Planning, Engagement, Leadership Development & Training & Org. Development & Effectiveness.
  • Must have talent management experience at all levels of the organization from executive leaders to hourly manufacturing associates.  
  • Exposure to industrial, consumer and/or customer-centric business is ideal, particularly those with a reputation for effective talent management processes. Experience is a matrix environment is critical.
  • Proven success in high-performing, relationship-driven cultures.
  • Additional experience as an HR Business Partner is a plus
  • Enthusiastic and high energy leader;
