Primary Purpose of the Position

  • Internally, continuously improve sales team competency by design and deliver routine training plan & Sales Development Program.
  • Externally, Enable Goodyear customers (selected distributors & retailers) to support building a healthier channel and strengthening the partnership.

 

Responsibilities:

Make & Implement Annual Training Plan

  • Lead the team to solicit internal & external training needs with the inputs from updated company policy/sales functional competency assessment/interviews/field visits.
  • Coordinate Training Resources & compile annual plan.
  • Deliver training courses to senior level trainees & critical external.

 

Lead team to Design New Training Courses

  • Lead the team to create or adapt the intermediate & advanced level training courses, and upgrade the curriculum leveraging past successful experience in sales management.
  • Hold the standards for training aids development, including but not limited to course brief/Trainer guide and resources/Training deck or materials/assignments & practice after training.
  • Externally ally Non-Tire service supplier (e.g. Lubricant) to build joint-certificated training program to retailer in need. 

 

Assess & Track Training Result

  • Establish Training evaluation system.
  • Monitor and tracking the training results timely.
  • Collect behaviors & provide activity records in field visit, draft field sales performance report.

 

Identify & Utilize Advanced Training Methodology/Technology

  • Apply market cutting-edge methodology/technology on existing training contents to boost training effectiveness & efficiency.

 

Coach Sales Trainers

  • Assistant Dean of GGA to develop Sales Trainers in both technical & commercial domain.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7~9 years working experience in auto industry, at least 2 years’ experience in training.
  • Extensive experience in Sales Techniques and Negotiation, Sales Force Effectiveness experience preferred;
  • Must have successful experience on front line sales team management.
  • Basic English communication skill both verbally & written.
  • In-depth knowledge of the different approaches for training needs collection, training course design and training result evaluation.
  • In-depth understanding in retail or automotive industry or similar commercial or transport industry in sales/retail function.
  • Solid industrial & technical knowledge for both consumer and commercial tires.                                                                                                                                                                                                 
  • Ability to incorporate past experience & knowledge to training design.
  • Good skill on training resource management.                                                                                              
  • With Potential & willing to move to sales management role for future development.
  • Can relocate according to the needs of training team.
