As the ASEAN FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting consolidation of ASEAN Cluster actual and projected financial statements, metrics and performance indicators and preparation of walks, reconciliations, analysis, explanation of variances - ensuring the integrity and correctness of data, and undertake studies and lead/participate in projects such as an expanded ASEAN cluster, shared services, and investment/divestment feasibility studies. You will responsible for developing processes, models, and analysis related to any one-time events within ASEAN (e.g., adoption of TM1/Cognos, Thailand Flood financial analysis, major investments/divestments, rationalizations, etc).
Job Responsibilities:

You will consolidate and analyze actual performance and forecasts from reporting locations within ASEAN region

You will be in charge of the development of forecasting models and tools to be rolled out to the field locations. You will lead and coordinate process improvements to drive better forecasting accuracy

You will assist in the development, preparation and analysis of management reports. You will analyze variances among actual results, budget and interim forecasts and prepare a summary report for management review preparation, and ad hoc business case analysis

You will maintain, in close coordination with regional IT resource in Singapore and AP management, the TM1/Cognos financial database

You will lead, coordinate and/or support process and business results improvement projects (i.e. working capital, conversion cost, efficiencies, shared services)
Job Requirements:

You have a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in a business related field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.) is required. Advanced degree (i.e. MBA or other advanced degree) is desirable.

You have minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible experience in accounting / analysis, with minimum 2 years in financial planning, ideally at a large, global, manufacturing company.

You have solid knowledge of accounting (Local, US GAAP and IFRS) and proven understanding of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow)

You have strong financial analysis background with the ability to prepare complex financial models.

You have technical and working experience with financial IT systems and financial databases from a detailed to consolidated perspective, including the use of MS Office Suite, and preferably Essbase, Cognos and SAP.

You are familiar with dealing in multiple-currencies

You have basic understanding of U.S. GAAP, accounting for complex transactions and internal controls in compliance with SOX.

You have strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system (SAP preferred), MS Office products, Hyperion or similar application) as applicable to the region.

You have change management experience, focused on getting teams “on board” with new processes and techniques.
