Business Process Manager (Procurement Transformation)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Standardized Deployment of Strategic Initiatives: Owns the Procurement strategic roadmap which outlines and prioritizes key initiatives to achieve best in class procurement practices globally. Ensures alignment of Procurement strategic initiatives with overall procurement and business strategy. Accountable for continuous improvement of core processes and tools.  Leverages internal feedback and external benchmarking to develop path-forward for procurement
  • Business Process Management:  Accountable for efficiency, standardization and complete transparency of processes and tools for the procurement organization globally.   
  • People Leadership/Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Direct manager of global BPE or Compliance team; Develops relationships with procurement category and internal audit leadership and serves as primary global contact for all inquiries related to business processes and policy.  Responsible for making sound decisions to support goal of best-in-class business & compliance processes.
  • Compliance: Leads and partners with internal compliance resources to identify new and changing regulations and develop processes to meet requirements.  
  • Responsible for Global Procurement Policy & Handbook including revisions, communication, and alignment with other business function policies.  Manage ongoing measurements and monitoring of procurement health metrics, adherence to key compliance elements and/or project status to deadlines & budget.  
  • Building Organizational Capability: Accountable for building organizational capability through 7-Step SSP/EST globally. Partners with category leadership to monitor and improve associate proficiency with tools. 
  • Responsible for establishing, developing, and executing training of procurement tools, systems and policy.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a relevant operational function in a relevant industry
  • Knowledge of shared service operations, risk management strategies and supply chain processes; project management fundamentals 
  • Background in advanced sourcing strategies and commercial contract laws is an advantage
  • Knowledge on Lean/Six Sigma principles is an advantage
  • Has handled Global Project Management and change management, 
  • Strong financial/statistical analysis, organization skills,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or other database programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
