Job Responsibilities:
Sell in price management (i.e Pricing Tool and Pricing Application Form)

  • Manage process for setting sell-in prices in consultation (Including template preparation, grant approval, system price update & proper documentation for audit trail) with the Marketing/Product & Sales.
  • Periodic review of the sell-in prices to achieve consistent and optimum prices in the marketplace in order to achieve SKU wise gross margins and SKU wise sell in prices that reflect product and size positioning

 

Competitor price track

  • Lead the setting of price benchmarks with the relevant competitor brands and patterns by SKU in order to ensure that the pricing benchmark is consistent vis a vis identified competitors & alignment with Pricing Tools regularly.  
  • Establish and regularly update competitor price benchmarks in key markets which are communicated by Sales

 

Tactical price management

  • Responsible to prepare all new pricing & program fits within pricing/margin guidelines and appropriate  approvals are gathered and derive recommendations for price adjustments to deliver the targets (ad-hoc/monthly/quarterly programs)
  • Monthly tracking of program effectiveness

 

Market back product management

  • For SG, HK, and key EM, revamp product portfolio to support local replacement demand. Support identification of the right products from the right manufacturing plant to meet the country regulatory compliance
  • Manage new product vitality through effective phase-in / phase-out of new/old products

 

Master Data Management

  • Maintain an updated master list of SKUs for the sales team’s reference that is OK to sell. Including products with the right SAP codes (Phase-in / Phase-out and AL Approvals

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related business; Postgraduate is preferred
  • At least 10 years experience in Finance and Accounting,
  • Knowledge of Local GAAP and U.S. GAAP 
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (particularly SAP) is a plus
  • Experience in consumer products and/or B2B environments, preferably in multinational companies
  • Knowledge of pricing methods and practices
  • Knowledge of IT/database construction and maintenance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
